2017-2018 Mentors List

2017-2018 Mentor/Mentee Program

Updated list as of February 4th,2018
If you have any concerns about your mentor/mentee that you would like to express to us (i.e. unresponsiveness), please fill out the following form:
  • Attend at least 2 out of the 4 general meetings- find a time to meet with your mentor
  • Complete a short mentee assignment
  • Attend at least 1 Molding Doctors non-volunteering event (i.e. fundraisers, social events, etc.)

  • Attend the Mandatory Mentor Meeting at the beginning of the semester
  • Attend at least 2 out of the 4 general meetings
  • Complete all 3 mentor assignments before their deadlines
  • Meet with your mentees and be available to address whatever questions they may have

The mentee-mentor program strives to connect underclassmen with upperclassmen of similar major interests so that they can seek assistance in adjusting to the pre-med expectations and UTD lifestyle. This has been a successful program in the past, and we ask that the upperclassmen of this year continue to work towards making this program a success! Being a mentor is a leadership position worthy of a spot on your medical school application!
