Mentors

The mentee-mentor program strives to connect underclassmen with upperclassmen of similar major interests so that they can seek assistance in adjusting to the pre-med expectations and UTD lifestyle. This has been a successful program in the past, and we ask that the upperclassmen of this year continue to work towards making this program a success! Being a mentor is a leadership position worthy of a spot on your medical school application!
Mentor Requirements:

- attend the Mandatory Mentor Meeting at the beginning of the semester

- attend at least 2 out of the 4 general meetings

- complete all 3 mentor assignments before their deadlines

- meet with your mentees and be available to address whatever questions they may have

Continuing Mentees:

Please fill out the following form if you would like to continue to be a mentor/mentee for Spring 2018. This gives us a chance to reassign mentees who were paired with fall 2017 graduated mentor, as well as ensure we have active, participating members.
