Mentor Application FORM
The mentee-mentor program strives to connect underclassmen with upperclassmen of similar major interests so that they can seek assistance in adjusting to the pre-med expectations and UTD lifestyle. This has been a successful program in the past, and we ask that the upperclassmen of this year continue to work towards making this program a success!
Special note: being a mentor is a leadership position worthy of a spot on your medical school application!
Fundraising Committe Application FORM
Please apply to become a Fundraising Committee member for the 2018-2019 school year!. This committee is specifically geared for those that are enthusiastic about giving back to their local community in a very hands on approach. Every month we will showcase, fundraise, and volunteer for a different local charity or organization from the Richardson/Dallas area. It’s important to volunteer as often as possible, because it is our belief that this is the way that you’ll gain those personal experiences that are so important to gaining a deeper understanding and love for this field. We’ve got a lot of exciting things planned for this year!
Humans of Molding Doctors FORM
Humans of Molding Doctors is a series we wanted to start for our club that imitates the original movement; Humans of New York. Brandon Stanton, the founder, photographer, and author of HONY, started this project as a way to capture the lives of people living in New York. People usually talk about their story as in how they got to New York, their everyday struggle, their motivation/inspiration, major events, any passions they have, and etc. In our case, Humans of Molding Doctors would capture the lives and stories of members of molding doctors.
